Thank you for visiting our site. We ask you take just a few moments and let us tell you what WCER 900 AM is all about.
*WCER 900 AM is an independently owned and operated radio station in Canton, Ohio. We are one of the few remaining independently owned radio stations in Ohio. Therefore, we have the freedom and flexibility to broadcast what we believe to be timely, relevant and necessary. Our format is news talk/Christian education. We do everything in our power to air programs that line up with our mission statement. Read the full text of our mission statement at the bottom of this page.
*To summarize our mission statement, we believe that our freedom (as Americans) is under attack. We are of the conviction that it is WCER's responsibility to educate and warn citizens of the United States about the current threats to our faith, families and freedoms. One way that we can help educate you is by exposing the lies that abound all around us. Once you know the truth about what is going on in America we hope that you will understand that we must turn to God and ask for forgiveness and accept His free gift of salvation though His precious Son, Jesus Christ.
You may have noticed our slogan, “Taking Back America.” What exactly do we mean by that. Most likely, that phrase will have a different meaning to each of our listeners. We here at WCER are of the conviction that America has strayed far from its religious and political roots. We believe that our nation was founded on the principles of freedom from oppressive government involvement in our lives. What we mean by “Taking Back America” is to reverse the trend of government imposition on our religious and family lives. WCER believes in freedom from sin, freedom from government, freedom from debt, and freedom from anything that enslaves us. Free to live life abundantly in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*Alex Jones: Monday---->Friday @5:00am-->8:30am and 12:00pm. Alex Jones exposes government corruption and daily reports the “real news” (news stories that the controlled media does not report-news that actually affects us)
*Christian Ministries: Monday--->Friday @8:30am-11:00am, and Sundays-throughout the day. These programs (World Missions Far Corners, A New Beginning, Successful Living, Enjoying Everyday Life, Focus On The Family, The Overcomer Ministry, The Family Alter Program, and more) feature Biblical preaching and teaching.
*Derry Brownfield: Monday-->Friday @11:00am. Derry, much like Alex Jones, covers daily news stories and explains how new and proposed laws will affect the way we live and do business.
*Dave Ramsey: Monday-->Friday @1:00pm-->3:00pm. Dave Ramsey hosts a daily call in show dealing with one of America's deepest problems-debt. Dave Ramsey helps his listeners and callers get on the road to debt freedom.
*Dr. Laura: Monday-->Friday @3:00-->6:00pm. Dr. Laura is available to help people with a wide range of personal, work, and familial problems. She "preaches, teaches, and nags about morals, values and ethics."
*The Patriot News Hour: Monday-->Friday @6:00-->7:00pm. The Patriot News Hour investigates the truth about America's real economic condition.
*The Flip Side With Robbie Noel: Monday-->Friday @6:00-->7:00pm.Born in the land named after Cecil John Rhodes Robby has spent last 30 years trying to figure out how he lost a country that was called Rhodesia, the journey to discover the truth about the Rhodes Legacy has led him along many paths in many countries it's this world view mixed in with current political events that Robby tries to sweep away the fog of "political correctness" on a daily bases.

History:900 AM in Canton, Ohio signed on the air in September of 1947 as WAND. It became WCNS and later WNYN (country) in the 1960s, WTOF (religious) in 1985, and WBXT (urban) in 1988. The station was off the air for awhile before being purchased by current GM Jack Ambrozic and partner Leodis Harris, and signed back on the air in 1992. The WCER call letters were originally on 1390/Charlotte, Michigan, and stood for "Charlotte/Eaton Rapids". The call letters also landed on a station in Indiana in the 80s before being brought to 900 in 1992 as "Canton's Entertainment Radio", later "Where Christ Ever Reigns", later "We're Christian Education Radio", and now as "Taking Back America".
